Magic Pictures

In this interactive, character led storytelling session, Victorian sisters Anna and Bea invite you to their studio for a camera-less photography demonstration while recounting mysterious childhood memories of the North Wind.

Drawing upon the experiments of scientist Anna Atkins who was credited as being the first female photographer for her use of the cyanotype process in 1843. By positioning objects onto treated paper and then exposing it to varying degrees of light principle of moving image media began….
