Early cinema screenings
Mirror Mirror has an extensive knowledge of early cinema from the science and magic of its origins in the 1880s to the silent stage and beyond into the pre (Hays) code and the ‘golden age’ eras of Hollywood.
Grown out of The Smoking Cabinet Festival of Early Cinema – a riotous three days of screenings, talks, cabaret performances and workshops – which took place at the Curzon Cinema Soho in 2007 and 2008, Mirror Mirror has previously arranged screen based activities for schools, festivals and museums.
Currently we are looking to arrange more silent films with live music. Check our blog page for latest events.
